Family Fuzion
Moving the Family Forward
Family - the basic unit in society traditionally consisting of two parents rearing their child/children or single parent rearing his/her child/children.
Fusion - a merging of diverse, distinct, or separate elements into a unified whole. Family Fuzion – the merging of the family into a unified whole. It is God’s desire for the family to be unified and harmoniously working and growing together.
This is what we desire to accomplish through the Family Focus newsletter and Family Fuzion sessions. Our goal is to counteract the negative influences that assault the family. Through the influence of God’s Word and other God-inspired materials our families can be strong and provide a positive impact on our world.
The family is the foundation of our society and Satan is using everything at his disposal to destroy it. He first strikes out at the husband/father and then the wife/mother. When he is successful the home is in chaos and unable to provide the blessings God has designed for the family.
John points out the powerful influence men can have in 1 John 2:12-14 “I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. 13 I write unto you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because you have known the Father. 14 I have written unto you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.”
Notice the progression:
1. Sins forgiven
2. Know God
3. Become strong
4. Overcome the wicked one.
When the husband/father applies these steps in his life and the wife/mother follows suit, they are laying a powerful foundation for their children to follow; thereby providing an atmosphere for God’s ways to prevail and Satan’s attacks to be defeated.
